 Meet James Witham

Over a 20-year span, Jim Witham served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of five companies he took public that traded on the American Stock Exchange or the OTCBB.

The growth of these companies was accomplished largely through acquisitions, one of which was included for two consecutive years in the top 100 of Inc. magazine's list of Fastest Growing Small Public Companies, as well as in the top 150 of the nation's fastest growing technology companies in the National Technology Fast 500 Program.

Mr. Witham is a recipient of the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor, which has been bestowed to a handful of Americans, including six US Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, other politicians and dignitaries, entertainers, sports figures and business leaders across the nation.

Along with Lee Iococca, Donald Trump, George Steinbrenner and other well-known businessmen, Mr. Witham sat on the Executive Committee of the board of the All American Collegiate Golf Foundation -founded by Arnold Palmer- and received the "Humanitarian of the Year" award from that organization.

Mr. Witham has worked closely with Fortune 500 companies in addition to investment bankers and top investor relations and public relations firms.  His extensive contact list includes CEOs of major US corporations and well-known media and sports personalities.

Mr. Witham is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf and engaging and other outdoor activities.

Meet Karen Laustsen

After obtaining a degree in education, Karen Laustsen switched gears, moving from the classroom to the board room.  She has served in executive management positions and on the board of directors of five publicly traded companies. 

Ms. Laustsen has extensive experience in conducting due diligence on acquisition targets across a broad spectrum of industry sectors and sizes of  companies. Other corporate responsibilities have included corporate governance, compliance, investor relations and public relations.

As a recipient of the precious gift of sight through corneal transplants, Ms. Laustsen is an ardent advocate of eye, organ and tissue donation and supports guide dog programs for the blind and visually impaired.
